With Thanksgiving around the corner and Christmas just a month away (even if most stores think that it’s now), it’s nice to get some of the holiday spirit and scents in your home. Along with bringing out the vanilla and cinnamon scented candles, adding Christmas lights to your walls and windows can give an extra ambiance to help bring the holidays home.
Decorate a small tree: If you don’t want the lights around your windows and are feeling too cramped for a real pine tree, try decorating an existing plant or small tree (composed mainly of branches). Even go as far as to add small ornaments – silver gives the tree an ethereal look while colors will bring tradition to the forefront.
The under-the-table glow: If you’re tight on time and wall space, sometimes a simple option like placing the lights under a coffee table can be both decorative and easy! Ideally, place the lights under a table that is towards the center of the room to attract the eye and gives an even glow throughout the space.
