We talk about small spaces a lot (or almost all the time) because they’re the hardest to decorate. You can never get everything organized and put away while having the exact decorations you imagined. Or, maybe you can’t imagine any decorations because you don’t think anything would fit. We used to feel the same…until we saw this great little 400 sq foot apartment and the unique storage idea.
Featured on Re-nest.com, this small studio uses shelves higher up (eye-level and even higher) to store dishes, books, and any other items.
Not only does this help with getting things out of the way, but it creates its own decor and style. The higher shelves also help give the space a bigger look, keeping the items at eye-level and lower minimalist. It’s a simple idea that can be easily created but adds that extra space and flare that we all strive to gain in our shoe-box spaces.
